ABOUT US
The REC Center is a 38,000 sq. ft. full-service fitness and recreation facility leased by the United City of Yorkville and operated by the city’s Parks and Recreation Department. All residents of the Yorkville community along with nonresidents are welcome to join. A variety of membership options are available for varying lengths of time and fees.
Located at 202 E. Countryside Parkway on the north side of the Fox River and visible from Route 47, the REC Center is ideally located for a quick morning or long evening workout on your drive to or home from work.
The facility houses an indoor track, lap pool, whirlpool, open gym, and cardio and resistance equipment including Life Fitness recumbent bikes, upright bikes, cross trainers, treadmills, steppers, Precor equipment, Keiser spin bikes and Body Master equipment.
In addition to fitness classes the REC Center offers a multitude of recreational leagues such as basketball, baseball, soccer and much more. For a list of Services and Amenities please click here.

There is a one-time enrollment fee of $50. Members who cancel and reinstate their memberships are subject to a reinstatement fee of $50. Membership will continue after the first year until cancelled in writing, 30 days prior to cancellation is required. For a list of membership prices please click here.

Complimentary visits can be pre-arranged for your convenience. If you would like to schedule a visit please call the REC Center at 630.553.2582. Our 30-minute tour will orient you to both our facility and classes.
PAYMENT
Memberships may be purchased by cash, check, Visa or Mastercard. Annual memberships may choose monthly Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) from a checking or credit card account. This annual membership automatically renews each year without notice, on the "Anniversary Date," unless written notice of cancellation is received at least thirty (30) days prior to the anniversary date.
Adjustments to the membership payment will be made when there is a change in membership price. The $50 enrollment fee, one month's payment, and a voided check are required for first-time members.
A $25 fee will be applied to all NSF checks, credit cards, or bank accounts.
PAYMENT POLICIES
Payments for all REC Center related activities must be paid prior to the start of the activity or class by cash, credit card or check payable to the Yorkville Parks and Recreation Department. All payments must be made to a cashier, and a receipt returned to the customer. No payments are allowed directly to staff except cashiers. If you do not receive a receipt, please notify the Recreation Superintendent immediately. City policies do not allow staff to accept tips/gratuities or gifts. Thank you for your cooperation!
Membership Cancellation Fee Policy
A one year membership may be cancelled at any time by paying a fee equal to 3 months payment of the member(s) yearly membership.
Membership Transfer Policy
Members are unable to transfer a membership to another individual for facility use. New users must register for theirown individual membership.

RENTAL FEES
We have rooms available to rent for meetings and sports
practices. Please contact the office to make a reservation at
630-553-2582. Rentals area subject to schedule availability.
*All rentals will require a $100 security deposit.
